The Heineman’s were like any other ordinary family. Devoted father and mother, three wonderful children, active in their community and church, hardworking typical blue collar family until Feb. 13th, 2009. This day will forever remain infamous in their minds and has changed their course in life forever.

Sarah-Dian - age 7, her sister Madison - age 9, and their father were all hospitalized as a result of being struck by another driver on Toledo Blade Blvd in Port Charlotte. Sarah-Dian died February 22nd after being removed from life support at All Children's Hospital.

Madison was released from hospital February 25. Their father remains in critical, but stable, condition in Bayfront Medical Center.

Liz, 13; Madison, 9; Sarah-Dian, 7; Carriann and Rick need your support. Remember Sarah- Dian, pray for Rick and Madison for their physical recover and pray for the whole family for their emotional healing and for their financial recovery.


24-year-old Ronald Judson Smith is suspected of running a red light while intoxicated. He's been charged with four counts of DUI with serious injury, possession of drugs, battery on a law enforcement officer, and driving with a suspended licence from a DUI from just last year.
